Repairs
Floor repairs are at many times a very complicated procedure and requires great skill and experience.

The majority of floor repairs are needed due to water or moisture damage.

Other causes may be aging, settling, fires or floors breaking due to objects, which are dragged or dropped on the floor. Each floor repair case must be carefully examined and the proper solution must be provided.

Floor repairs are not an exact science, and each floor repair case is completely different than other floor repairs. Each case must be carefully reviewed and assessed in order for the repair to be conducted properly.

Moisture can cause many floors to shift or break. Changes in humidity cause floors to expand and contract constantly.

This expansion and contraction causes the floor materials to move back and forth, many times shifting from the original installation position. Often, these gradual movements require repair.

Water damage is another popular cause for repair. An excess amount of water, which comes in contact with a floor may cause extreme movement and changes in the form of the floor material.

When water is absorbed through the floor and into the sub floor, great damage can be caused to the sub floor which will require more extensive repair.

Many things may damage floors and require repair work. Not every case can be repaired perfectly and some may not be reparable at all requiring a new floor to be installed.
