Grouting
Grout is the material which is used to fill gaps between stone, marble, and ceramic tiles. Grout is very similar in its characteristics and texture to cement. It looks like cement, and reacts to water like cement. It is a powder, which must be mixed with water in order to dry and then harden.

The old grout can be scraped and new grout can be applied. This process is called regrouting.
